01/29/08 Something is wrong with me

I'm always tired. And late. -blasts Bourne Identity music-

Okay! Slightly better now. Sorry, Anna....

Yeah, we're making a model of the tabernacle in seminary. The other things were made of some odd wood, but the laver was a bowl. So uh... It was overwhelmed by the spirit.

Anywho.. -glances back at other comments-

Well, it was no elegant obituary, but I figured it deserved more than a passing glance.
Speaking of which, I believe his funeral will be this Saturday and I think it'll be on BYU and prodcasted to the stake centers. I think. I got an e-mail from mom, so yeah. Something like that. For more information, go to- Anywhere else...

-looks up- Yeah, I don't know very much...

Am I late? I don't think so, but I'd like to get some more exercising done before lunch. By the way, mom, I think you should be happy. I had a butter-free potatoy breakfast. With an apple. So yeah, it occurs to me that I'm getting fat. I used to be 135... Which I am not anymore... Oh well.
Healthy junk! Ooh! Bro A. told me about a really good food thing. Oatmeal + Yogurt + Berries = Good.

I tried it - berries, but whatever. He was right. One little cup and I wasn't hungry for HOURS. Then I ate dinner like mom kept telling me to.

Reorganization is good. I've finally found the right place for my beloved trenchcoat...

Anyway, that about wraps it up. See ya, er'body!

01/28/08 The passing of a great man

Well, today's post won't necessarily be as energetic as it could be. The reason for this happened last evening, when Gorden B. Hinckley passed away. Needless to say, it came as quite a shock, despite his age, for you grow to see a man like him as more than human, which I feel inclined to say is true. He was not just a man. He was mortal, yes, and he may have had his unseen faults, but in the end, he was no less than a man who walked with God. He carried on until the very end, those around him often saying how they couldn't keep up with him. Could this just be a man? No. I dare say not. And it strengthens my testimony to think of him, along side other great leaders of the church, united in this great Plan of Salvation. Now, I know that life will go on. Trials will present themselves. But there is strength in the knowledge that your goal is worth fighting for, and I hope that this may be another pillar of comfort in those times when it seems like all is lost.

It occurs to me that his death was not an unhappy one. Surrounded by family, I believe it was his time, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is keeping busy. The work of the Lord does not stop with death, and the work, both here in the life after, will continue. Let us all take courage in that knowledge.

01/25/08 More poll results...

As you might expect, I'm running a little late today... Anywho, some quick responses...

Poll:
How would you like to die if you had your choice?
Only two options were chosen.
Saving someone's life... 3/4
Doing and awesome stunt... 1/4

Well, I guess this world has hope after all... Wait... No it doesn't... All the good people die off...

Comment response:
I'd probably like a chocolate lab. The name is hardly determinable, though. I mean, it depends on the dog.

The text is acting up again...

Anyway, we painted the alters and things for the tabernacle today. They're so shiny! One problem, though. The laver got melted... I don't exactly know how, but it did. Poor thing. A little paint, and then, poof!

Um, that might be all for now. As I said before, I'm late. Bye!

01/24/08 Snowy peanut butter fever...

Clouds above! The snow trip!

Hello, everyone, I've got two- three things to talk about.

Four...

Snow trip:

As many of you may have guessed or already know, the snow was not cold enough for me. I'm telling you, next time I'm going like the Hip-o...

Too hot...

Otherwise, it was fun! Very fun! With snowball fights and sledding and snowmen jumping, with snow caves and hills and all kinds of icy goodness. (More of this later)

Five...

Martin Luther King Jr. Day!- AKA Stake Temple Day
We did baptisms for the dead! Yes!

Stake youth mutual!
Interesting... Talking about scouting... Playing dodgeball... Sound familiar?

Chloe left the day I went on the campout. Big dog. Young dog. Still, a good dog. -nods-

I think if I ever got a dog, it'd be a lab... They're little.. (No offense, Chloe...)

Uh... pie is good...

Is that it? It must be...

Bye!

01/17/08 Inspection

Well, firstwise, we shall take a look at the comments...

In response to 01/15/08:
Not so much that, but he does have a certain appeal. He's rather fast, wouldn't you say?

Now, the pack inspection went well. I'm all set. (I took out most of my snow gear and put it in a separate bag... Now my books are in there!)

!!!!

I forgot the most awesome book EVER! -packs the BoM-

So the first signs of competence appear... I figured out what a character written on someone's boots were! Japanese for nine. Shoe size no doubt... Hurray!

Um...

BAH!!!

That was random... I have to go...

BYE!!!

01/15.2/08 Book frenzy

I fell asleep. Luckily Black Shadow woke me up so I could put the book away, but I only managed to get in two chapters... It seems that words are funnier when your tired. Even 'suddenly'. -laughs- I'm tired...

I still need to pack...

I forgot why the monkeys ironed my socks... But it feels weird...

I'm gonna go now. -looks for headphones-

...

Wha- what???

-looks at volume- Okay!

So how's er'body? I seems apparent that I'll have a head ache tomorrow. It felt like it before, but now it's certain.

'Least I'm awake now... I still have to go. Hi Chloe. Yes, food is good for eating. Good dog. (So close to a palindrome...)

Bye...

01/15/08 Shortness...

Three words:

Sonic the Hedgehog

01/14/08 Freezing, throwing, and banging

For starters, the poll:
If you had super powers based on one of these animals, which animal would you most likely choose?
Hedgehog - 1
Fish - 2
Cat - 2
Monkey - 0

Wow... Fish...

So yeah, this is going to be in three parts.
Freezing!
Friday is the snow campout. YEAH!!! I love the snow...

Throwing
Cloe (is that right? o_O) is here. BIG dog. -nods- Still, a nice one. I threw a couple of tennis balls this morning and she seemed happy with that. A little lonely when you leave the room, but otherwise happy. So that is good. I'm still working on a daily schedule to follow, which is part of...

Banging!
I'm late. My homework was a little slower today. (I had to stop a few times to get dog drool off of it...) So mom, you won't be overly excited when you grade papers... I still haven't finished the Bourne Supremacy... Not good. It's due soon. Still haven't had time. Life stinks. I think I'll stay up sometime and try to powerhouse it. Complete KO for the rest of the day, but I NEED to finish it. I like it. (If I stay up long enough, I won't have to worry about getting up for seminary... Cold showers...)

That's life. Busy busy busy. I haven't packed yet. We're going to snow. I haven't packed. Smart... Bye... -walks away, trying not to punctuate the already existing bruise on forehead-

01/10/08 Sharpening mind and blade...

Well, today, as all weekdays, was and will be filled with much enlightenment as school continues its droning goal of heightening the mind's capabilities... It occurs to me that some do not enjoy education as well as they might. The reason I say this is that I have recently been told by an online friend that they had been keeping a countdown until the end of school since December... My response to this? WHY??? To dread the end of Seminary? What poor soul could be so discouraged as to seek that dreadful day and look forward to it with such eagerness as to forsake all else? Could the void of Seminary truly make education unbearable? If so I shall not wish to think of it. School, mayhaps, takes time and effort out of our lives, but to what purpose? To further the development of our beings and to give knowledge which will help our future selves. Is that not a fair reward for the price?

-glances up- Yeah, I've been having one of those days...

So, hi everybody! I'll get to the comments first.

Concerning 01/09/08:
Okay, you lost me at the 'smart' part. Other than that small piece of complimentary dishonesty, thank you!

Yep, easy comments today. ^^

Along with school, I've been working on sharping my wonderful array of pocket knifes. Such beauty to be found in an inanimate object... Most are still dull, but I'm working on it!

I believe it's safe to say that the story I started earlier is going to be postponed. Rest assured, though. It had a section that involved a psychiatrist, so I'll like to go back to it if I can. In the meantime, I'm hoping to start another project of mine. That is, writing Phoenix Tears. I've been hoping on starting it for a while, but I've just never had time. (The story of my life, but oh well...) The sad thing is, I already know the entire plot, locations, and most of the scenes. It's just putting everything together that I'm having trouble finding time for... Anyway, that's enough of that. Let's move on, shall we?

I need to do more cleaning and sorting. I'm practically done in my room, but I could think of other places that could use attention. Also, since there will be a great dane here in a few days, I've got to make some room. -nods-

Well, that ought to be good for now. I'll be seeing you! -waves-

01/09/08 Magnets and continued quests

'I like to say, "po-ta-toes". ;)'
Hmm, yes. I thought you might... XD

Well, I'm glad to say that using a different pen helped in my switch to cursive. Honestly though, cursive looks weird. (You can tell I still take notes in print) I'll say one thing, though. It's a whole lot easier to keep track of where you're writing when you're using cursive. ^^

Also, yesterday I found some magnets that I almost never used and began a new idea for Japanese! Holding up papers on a shelf near my bed so I can go over them before sleep. ^^ Yay magnets!

Um, nobody cares, but I've finally finished my goals for my two runescape accounts.
(For your own interests, you may want to skip this part)
Baran tarak:
70 Mining
60 Smithing
40 Crafting

Melian clan:
64 Woodcutting
44 Spectral
47 Ranged
41 Magic
37 Hitpoints
10 Defense

Yeah, pointless nonsense, but it was a nice hobby. I also have 1 mil gold coins on each for common expenses.

MOVING ON...

So yeah, that was interesting.
I'm still trying to find time to read the Bourne Supremacy... (Wow, spellchecker stopped picking up 'Bourne...') -sighs- Oh well, I guess I have a little time later today...

SNOW TRIP! Overnighter of frozen fun, here I come!
I'm thinking about bringing the wool pants that I got from the Temple Celebration. (Done thinking, I'm bringing 'em. ^^) They're pretty cool, and definitely warm enough. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it. XD

That about wraps it up. Good news to you busy people, eh? We got a look at some of your schedules last time, didn't we? Busy busy busy, and yet not too busy to read a young teenager's ranting. I'm touched...

Bye everybody!

01/08/08 Potatios... ^^

I think I like saying potatoes like that. Potatios... XD

Anywho, for starts, I'll drop the old idea for comments. (To much copying and pasting...)

Instead I'm going to try just giving post dates for the comments. 'Cause I'm lazy.

Okay, this is in response to 01/07/08
@.@ Okay, yeah. Now I'm starting to remember that. I forgot to factor 3x out first. (So it's ^, eh? Handy. -nods-)

And of course, no one in the least is surprised that -nicknames... agh... I guess since it's in the comment, it doesn't matter...- David got that. He is undoubtedly highly proficient when it comes to concepts that fry a lesser mortal's mind. Uh... yeah, he's good with numbers... Me, not so much.

01/07.2/08
Um, yeah, we survived. Mostly. Poor little trees...

Are you joking? Of course it wasn't a set. XD A set would have instructions and would not compensate pieces as much as I did... Yeah, I didn't sweat the small stuff. Using two 1x2s instead of a 1x4 never killed anybody... Plus it's nice and large. ^^ Still not the exactly right proportions, though. -sighs- Building a realistic castle is hard... Anywho, so yeah, I like it. It took a while, but I like it.

(end of responses...)

Uh, yeah... Seminary started again. Woot! Also, the agenda is working well-ish. All I have to do now is the limited writing stuff. (e.i. Japanese, PE, you get it)

That reminds me, mom, you'd better be happy. I tried you're whole, actual writing instead of printing and writing on the lines and all it got me was slowed down work and a poor, unhappy hand. Yeah, I'm using a different pen tomorrow...

So that's it for me, aside from my intentions to improve myself and finish my plans for worldly overthrow. I've got a decent plan, but the after shocks are problems. Darn governing issues. Being a dictator is no fun if you actually care about a world's success. -shakes head- See ya!

01/07.2/08 LEGOS!!!

Before I eat I must speak of two things:

LEGOS: I love them so much! By them, I refer to my medieval fantasy legos. I did it! I completed the castle, then again, I thought I completed it before, but it's better now! Drawbridge, secret exit, removable second floor for easy access, and last but not least, a platform for the ballistae!

Yeah, pooling all of your accumulated lego resources into one area makes you a little crazy. Lots of little lego warriors... Plus the cottage of bliss and the lava prison. I like much.

Storm!: There was a storm. A windy storm. It knocked down trees. But not our trees. It took out a few shingles on the roof, though. We put them back up. It turns out that prayers can make the rain hold off until you can finish up the job of fixing it. Yay! So now all is good again. Um... I think that's it!

Bye!

01/07/08 Back to school, in with 'The Agenda'

Hello, er'body! How are all of you today? -glares at cat- Honestly, there are /NO/ cats here. Well, besides Atilla the Mouse Hun of Kitty Hen Spoiled Cat Face, but you two don't like each other. STOP MEOWING!

Almost lost my cool there...

Okays, so it's a new week. A nice one. Travis came today, but that will wait until later. First I must tell you about...

The Agenda: The saddening, yet true statement which takes away eleven hours and fifteen minutes of my life each weekday.

5:15 Seminary Prep
5:55 Family Prayer
6:15 Seminary
7:45 Breakfast
8:00 Daily subject
12:00 Lunch
12:30 Email and Blog
1:00 ALEX
2:00 Japanese
3:00 P.E.
4:00 Dog training
4:30 Freedom...

Yep, the life of a busy person.... Curses.

And of course, Seminary prep will include scripture reading, personal morning prayer, all that. Likewise, P.E. and dog training will intercept. (Dog walking)

So yeah, if I follow healthy sleeping patterns, I have to go to bed at 9:00... Four and a half hours... Oh, weekends. Sweet weekends. Why must they be so far away? (not that it makes a difference, they still bring work, although usually more physical)

Where is Jason Bourne in the equation???? I need my books. I need them so much. Runescape I'm fine with cutting back on, (an hour a day will more than suffice) but my/books/??? They are my life, my friends! How can I get through the day without leaving it now and then? I must use air pockets. Any free time I find. Also, music must be acquired. Notes must replace words, if only in part. Sound is less exclusive than sight.

E.S. (I know it's not that anymore):
Anywho, I got 87% on my test. It would be much better, but I accidentally added instead of multiplying. Also, there's a question I just can't get.

What is the factor of
3x(to the power of 3) -9x(to the power of 2) -12x

The two answers involved
x - 4
x - 1

I said x - 1, and I can't see how it would be otherwise. How, after all, do you get 4 out of 9 or 3?

Other than that, it went fine. Very good.

Okay, so I'll just post the poll results....

If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?
Animal 2/3
Vegetable
Mineral
Other 1/3

Am I the only person who wants to be a waterfall?

So I'll just update everything else and eat something unhealthy. Bye!

01/03/08 "So tired..."

Yeah, it fits here, so this will be short....

Temple cleaning! It was awesome! I was mostly in the basement and the attic. (Moving shelves and their contents..) It was nice. The only unfortunate thing that I might say is that deacons are not as respectful as they used to be. Here we are, a teacher and a priest, the only ones working, despite the fact that there are about six to eight deacons there. Reason? They're busy rolling around in office chairs, whacking each other with wash cloths, and going up on the roof. Charming little imps, eh? I am so glad there are only about four deacons in our ward...

But yeah, temple cleaning was great. Mostly.

I also defaced some face cards a few days ago! 'Ello there grim reaper...

Wet paint! And lots of it. That's right, we're finally working on painting the bathroom and master bedroom! The bathroom is mostly finished, but we still have some work to do in the bedroom. Anyway, that's all I'm gonna say because mom says there's a storm coming! (I hope it snows... Not likely.)

So yeah, that's it, the end, goodbye.
